I'm the Electronic Resources Librarian at Cornell University, and have been here since June 2016. Starting in 2019, I run a (very small) group called "E-Resources and Acquisitions Strategy", in which we'll try to make things better in our corner of the library, and then tell the world if we succeeded or not.
In the past, I was a Reference Librarian at East Carolina University and the University of Washington, and in 2000 I co-founded Serials Solutions with my brothers and a high school friend. For the past 10 years I've run ShipIndex.org, a site that helps people do research on ships, because I care a lot about maritime history and want to make it easier to do.
I've worked in public services, technical services, e-resources management, and in electronic resources publishing. I've seen a little bit of everything, at this point. but I have a lot more still to try.
